Let me tell you a little bit about myself…

My dream was always to have business where service and quality would take center stage. Back in 1998 I decided to take my entrepreneurial spirit and open Post Road Clothier in Sudbury.

I was trained by master custom tailors and shirt makers in North America and continue to learn my trade to this day in order to be strive to be the best haberdasher of men’s custom clothing and casual wear in the Boston Area.

Just a bit of background about myself:

I am a graduate from the University of Vermont.

I am an avid skier, scuba diver, hiker and still trying to improve my golf game.

I think Scotch and Cigars go great together.

I love spending time with my beautiful family.

I avoid shopping malls as much as humanly possible.

I have learned early on the importance of finding your own personal style rather than worry about what is in fashion.

My Mantra : Exceptional service is the building block to any successful business.

As a long time customer, I value the choice of distinctive, yet traditional, styles and fabrics offered by David for his custom tailored suits, sport coats and shirts as well as high quality of the finished product.

You will find that once the initial process of measuring and fitting is complete, future orders will be as easy as picking out a fabric. Leave the hassles behind – no more driving from store to store and trying on garment after garment. Post Road Clothier is your one-stop shop.

Make an Appointment

Our Process:

Listen and Learn: The most important part of designing custom clothing is for us to learn about you. We want to find out how you dress for work, as well as how you dress on your more casual days. Are you looking for a new style? If so, what would you like your style to become? What can we do to help you look and feel your best in any situation?

Fabric Selection and Design: We will work hand in hand with you to find a fabric that flatters your physique and a design that best fits your style and specific body shape.

Measuring: We take precise measurements, taking into account your posture and shoulder slope.

Final Fitting: Once your garment is delivered, we will have your final fitting and make any necessary alterations. Any alterations will be noted and your clothing pattern will be updated for future orders to ensure an exact fit. Repeat orders will use your clothing pattern to make it a very simple process for you.

Archiving: Once the final fitting is completed, a comprehensive file will be created for you. We will archive all swatches of clothing you made, patterns, sizing, adjustments and alterations. Re-ordering is much easier and effective when you are able to see what shirts, suits and other items you already have in your wardrobe.
